Paint Correction

Motorhomes and trailers have LOTS of surface area, making them tough to protect and maintain. At Bold Detailing, we have the solutions to bring life back into your paint like you’ve never seen before!

Wax Included: Typically, our paint correction packages also include a thorough waxing. This is only made unnecessary if requested otherwise, or if the paint correction is followed by a ceramic coating application.

Wet Sanding: If your RV or trailer has deep oxidation or scratches, we can confidently wet sand the surface down to a fresh level of clear coat. This also minimizes the chances that your paint is left with any pitting or deep spots!

Scuff Removal: We are capable of removing most surface level scuffs while also minimizing material removed! Eliminating the need for reapplying paint in many cases!

Paint Touch-Ups: At Bold Detailing, we have a strong partnership with a local body shop where we can get accurate, custom paint touch up mixes just for you! We even hand apply clear coat to achieve a flawless finish. A perfect solution for most rock chips and deep scratches!

Pricing:

  • 1-Step (50% Correction):

    • Trailer: $20 per foot of length ($400 minimum)

    • RV: $30 per foot of length

  • 2-Step (70-90% Correction:

    • Trailer: $35 per foot of length ($700 minimum)

    • RV: $50 per foot of length

  • 3-Step (95% Correction):

    • Trailer: $50 per foot of length ($1000 minimum)

    • RV: $75 per foot of length

Ceramic Coating

Ceramic coating is the best protection available for all surfaces on your RV or trailer, lasting over 3+ years! You can even have multiple layers of ceramic coating applied, multiplying its benefits and bringing an even deeper shine, gloss, and thickness too all surfaces of your ride.

Many don’t know that ceramic can also be applied to upholstery, textured plastics, and glass. Greatly minimizing color loss and surface cracks caused by age and wear from the sun!

A ceramic coatings unrivaled water beading properties make keeping your RV or trailer clean and dry, easier than ever!

When looking to protect your investment for the long term, getting a ceramic coating is absolutely a no-brainer!

  • Trailer: $50 per foot of length ($1000 minimum)

Paint Decontamination

Does your paint have a gritty texture to it or surface stains? Our combined used of clay, iron remover, and other chemicals can bring back that slick feel and remove discoloration without any need for paint correction! This process removes little to no material, and is generally a good starting point before a paint correction to get confirmation on clear or gel coat damage.

Waxing

Looking for deep wet gloss and protection? We use only the best, 100% carnauba wax, to get your RV or trailer looking and feeling its very best! 100% carnauba wax is also a very light abrasive which is excellent at removing very light scratches and swirl marks without cutting into your clear coat. Want even more out of wax? We can apply multiple layers to increase longevity and add even more pop to your paint! Waxing is most commonly used for short seasons, trips, and shows as it typically doesn’t last anymore than 3 months, depending on how many layers are applied.

  • Decontamination:

    • Trailer: $3 per foot of length ($60 minimum)

    • RV: $5 per foot of length

  • Waxing:

    • Trailer: $5 per foot of length ($100 minimum)

    • RV: $10 per foot of length

      Both services can only be performed during or after a detail
